Ever since I bought this toucan final piece home, I’ve been getting bad luck (like everyday!?), I didn’t even realise the correlation until someone joked about it…then I thought is it true? has this thing I created have some kind of omen and bought bad luck to me??!?
Considering taking the toucan and leaving outside somewhere (Free art) so maybe someone else who isn’t so cowardly could have it and give it a home.
So, this was my final piece for one of my past projects which was about Toucans. This final piece focuses on the darker side of toucans and spirituality.
“toucans are associated with evil spirits and are thought to be the incarnation of a demon. In certain religions of South America, the father of a new born child must not eat toucan flesh as it might bewitch the newborn and cause it to fade away. The toucan is also a tribal totem and the medicine mn can use it as an incarnation to fly to the spirit world” Source
I got ao into the research side of this project I left myself with ver little time to make the actual piece so I did feel rushed in making the final peice. BUT I GOT IT DONE…ON TIME!
